Gabe Nechamkin is the Founding Member and Portfolio Manager at Ellis Lake Capital, LLC. Previously, he was a Founding Member and Senior Principal at Satellite Asset Management, a multi-strategy hedge fund that managed in excess of $7 billion, from 1999 – 2009. Prior to launching Satellite, Mr. Nechamkin was a Managing Director of the arbitrage, high yield and distressed securities group at Soros Fund Management LLC from 1988 through 1999. Mr. Nechamkin also co-managed the risk arbitrage group at Plaza Securities Company and, before that, was a Vice President at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Mr. Nechamkin holds a B.A. in both Economics and Statistics from the University of Rochester.

Anthony Pasqua is a Senior Principal and the CFO / CCO at Ellis Lake Capital, LLC. Previously, he was the Head of Operations at Shumway Capital Partners. Prior to that, Mr. Pasqua worked as the Controller and Director of Operations at Chatham Asset Management in charge of all fixed income products. Mr. Pasqua earned an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, is an active Certified Public Accountant and a current AICPA member.

Scott Crocombe is a Senior Principal at Ellis Lake Capital, LLC. Previously, he was a Senior Analyst in Event Driven/Credit Strategies at Satellite Asset Management from 2003 – 2010, investing in multiple sectors across the capital structure. Mr. Crocombe was also the lead analyst on numerous restructurings and recapitalizations. Prior to joining Satellite, Mr. Crocombe was an Investment Banking Analyst in Citigroup’s Media and Telecommunications Group. Mr. Crocombe holds a B.S. in both Mathematics and Economics, summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University and he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Philip Hudson is a Senior Principal at Ellis Lake Capital, LLC. Previously, he was an Analyst in the Credit Opportunities Group at D. E. Shaw & Co., L.P. from 2007 – 2010. Prior to joining the D. E. Shaw group, Mr. Hudson was an Investment Banking Analyst in Morgan Stanley’s Global Power & Utility Group. Mr. Hudson holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with Highest Distinction.

Jay Braunstein is a Senior Principal at Ellis Lake Capital, LLC. Previously, he was the Head Trader at GLG Ore Hill from 2009-2013. Prior to joining GLG Ore Hill, Mr. Braunstein was the Senior Trader at Satellite Asset Management. Mr. Braunstein holds a B.S. in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University.
